Are you looking for a wedding fayre in the West Midlands area? The Menzies Strathallan Hotel in Birmingham and Cherish Weddings have teamed up to bring you a carefully chosen selection of the best local wedding suppliers together under one roof – with one simple goal in mind – to take the weight off your shoulders as you plan your wedding, by helping you save time, stress and money.
Time
With so many wedding suppliers ready and waiting to meet you on the day, when you come and visit us on 11th March we want you to be able to tick off as many suppliers on your checklist as possible (and for those brides who don’t have a wedding planning checklist yet, you can download a copy of ours here to help you along your way.)
Stress
There’s an amazing array of choices to be made when planning a wedding, and how do you know a reliable wedding supplier from an unreliable one. Meeting suppliers face-to-face at a wedding fayre is the ideal way to overcome that first hurdle, and because there are so many suppliers at the same place, and it is so much easier to move from table to table than trawling through the internet and phone book, making phone calls and trying to arrange appointments. All the information you will need about each supplier will be there at your fingertips, ready for you to take away and read at your leisure.
Money
Many of our exhibitors will have special offers which are only available on the day of the fayre, ensuring you make some great savings on the cost of your wedding.
We want you to really enjoy your experience at the fayre, and with that goal in mind, we’ve arranged a few small treats for you.

- We’ve got a wedding beautician ready to give you a few minutes’ gentle pampering as you make your way around the fayre.
- Listen to our harpist playing everything from classical, to the theme from Gladiator, to “When I Fall In Love” – what a perfect way to to make your entrance at your civil ceremony, or to provide gentle background entertainment for your guests to enjoy before a church ceremony.
- “Try-on and buy” from a wide range of wedding dresses available to purchase on the day.
- Need a little design inspiration? Visit our wedding suite dressed for a wedding reception by some of our suppliers
- Before you leave us, why not why not stop off at the Brasserie Restaurant for a bite to eat.

BALLOONS

BRIDAL ACCESSORIES
Deborah Marie provides a service to assist you when co-ordinating a theme throughout your bridal party, enabling you to be as creative or classical as you desire! From our bespoke bridal accessory range of crystal bouquets to cherish forever that knock spots of traditional floral bouquets, to pretty crystal and pearl tiaras. Bridal veils are available offering you a wide choice to select from our existing range or if you desire to have one made to measure to match your bridal gown.
BRIDAL SHOPS
We are a small dedicated team who have got between us over fifty years experience of looking after Brides and Grooms.
Our very talented seamstress lovingly carries out all our alterations on site. With a keen eye for perfection she will make sure that you look radiant on your special day.
The ladies that work in our Gentleman’s department will make sure you are fitted in the correct suit for you. Whether it is your wedding or a special evening out you will look gallant and refined.

CUPCAKES
We are a family run business based in Birmingham. Our founding baker, Aimee, trained at Westminster College in 1997 and in turn established Crestwood Cakes and Bakes because of our love for baking. At Crestwood Cakes and Bakes good quality homemade cupcakes are our passion and every cupcake is baked with love, care and attention. The eyecatching cupcakes are both light and moist with a soft and fluffy “just out the oven” texture.
Our cupcakes are made fresh to order as either signature cupcakes or to your own preference and stylishly finished by hand with buttercream frosting and enticing toppings or fondant covered with delicately made decorations.

MUSICIANS – HARPIST
The harp can provide gentle, relaxing music as guests assemble, then some more exciting music, either traditional or modern, for the entrance of the bride. A song may be used in place of one of the readings to make the ceremony more special and individual. Music will also be required during the signing of the register and photos. Finally, the couple can exit together with a peal of bells on the harp, or your favourite song or piece of classical music.

As experienced photographers we cover every aspect of your special day in a relaxed, unobtrusive way. Our contemporary reportage style results in a good balance of formal and informal shots. Getting to know you allows us to provide a very personal service.
We’re based in Birmingham but have travelled all over the UK to photograph events.
As experienced wedding photographers we work closely with you to understand the style of photography that will best capture the real character of your wedding.
Our friendly approach and natural rapport will allow you to relax as we work together to capture every special moment.
In our work we merge digital as well vintage traditional film photography. The combination of those two different styles and visions results in natural and beautiful photos.
Our clients are both national and international. Based in Birmingham, we travel for assignments worldwide.
We have had the pleasure of shooting engagements, lifestyle shoots and weddings in various location across the UK, including the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, as well as in Poland.

We recognise that all brides are special and sometimes want something a little bit different, so we can offer a complete bespoke service. Alternatively, we can personalise our stationery range for you by offering your chosen colour-coordinated print and typeface.

We cater for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, photoshoots, store openings, hen parties, christenings, baby showers and any other events. You can hire items individually or as a package.
